Watercolor with Prairie Grass

 Hello friends,

Sorry for being absent a bit, but as you know, life can get in the way.  I do have a couple of cards for you today.  I decided it was too long of a time when I did some water coloring.  Here's my cards.

For both cards, I used watercolor paper and scribbled Stampin' Write Markers on a clear block and spritzed with water.  Colors are Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Balmy Blue. Then laid the block on the paper and let it work its magic.  I let it dry overnight and used Early Espresso ink to stamp the image and sentiment

This one turned out a bit better.  Probably because I had not done this technique in a very long time and I had practice with the first one. 😉  I really like how they both turned out though.  Colors of markers used here are Garden Creen, Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo and Crushed Curry. The Prairie Grass stamp set is very versatile because of the natural images and delicate font of the sentiments.  I've made some sympathy cards too, which I will show you later.

Just as a reminder, our new Mini catalog and new Online Exclusives offerings will be going live on Sept 4th.  Be sure to check them all out at my online store so you can get a free gift from me!  If you would like an online version of the catalog, please email me and I can send it to you in your email now.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a nice Labor Day.
