Product Changes Ahead

 Hello friends!

Wow! I have some important news to share with you.  Stampin' Up! is making some product changes and one of the changes starts today.  Read on to learn more.

Cling Stamps (Red Rubber)

We’ve decided to discontinue our cling stamp line due to challenges in sourcing the necessary raw materials. While we currently have access to enough raw materials to continue production for the time being, the supply has become increasingly inconsistent, and certain key raw materials are no longer being manufactured. We’re choosing to make this change now to ensure a smoother, more strategic transition—with minimal disruption to you. We will continue to offer a wide range of photopolymer stamps to support various artistic styles and techniques.

Annual Catalog Cling Transition*

In April 2026, all cling stamps in the 2025–2026 Annual Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. No cling stamps from the annual catalog will carry over.

Online Exclusives Cling Transition

Cling stamps released in Online Exclusives through September 2025 will be supported—based on demand—until April 2026 at the latest. Some will likely discontinue prior to April.

Final Transition

In April 2026, all remaining cling stamps across our offering will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last.

Stampin’ Write Markers

We have also decided to discontinue Stampin’ Write Markers. With the growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends, we’ve seen a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers. One of the primary techniques unique to Stampin’ Write Markers is coloring directly on cling stamps—a technique that will become less relevant as we transition away from cling.

The phasing out of the Stampin' Write Markers will start TOMORROW, August 20th.  They will all be added to our Last Chance Products* and will be available while supplies last.  NOTE: While we typically only update our Last Chance Products during the week of even numbered months, we're making an exception for this transition.

New and Improved Stamp and Die Packaging

As part of our transition away from cling stamps, we’re excited to introduce updated packaging for stamps and dies! Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, we’re able to offer sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space. Both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to store bundles and coordinating products together. The new packaging is similar to our current die packaging—durable, clear plastic envelopes—but with an exciting improvement: Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification! Stamp packaging will continue to display artwork as well.

Packaging Details

  • New packaging measures 5-5/8" x 9" (hint:  I believe our Paper Pumpkin kits fit in these too!)
  • Stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easy to store bundles and coordinating products together.
  • Packaging is clear with an insert that displays stamp or die artwork for quick and easy identification—yes, both stamp and die packaging will now show artwork!
  • Larger packaging dimensions allow us to showcase more stamp artwork at 100% on the insert.
  • Sleek, slim design will help you and your customers store more in less space.
  • Envelope closure includes a tuck-in flap for quick and easy opening and closing.
  • Packaging is sized to fit a variety of organization systems.
That's a lot of changes in one blog post.  I wanted to be sure you were all aware of the changes coming, and if you really love our Stampin' Write Markers, you may want to stock up.  These will go quickly.  Just click on my SHOP button and check them out on the Last Chance Products list.

While change can be alarming for some, I believe that Stampin' Up! is doing what is necessary to continue to be one of the leaders in paper crafting. We brought scrapbooking back and it has been well received. We continue to have color coordinated papers, inks and embellishments like twine, ribbon and sparkly dots and this is one of the reasons I am still an active demonstrator for 15 years.  Nothing compares to the quality and long shelf life of their products. Personally, I'm looking forward to the new thinner stamp envelopes because that will give me a lot more room for more!  When one door closes, another opens. πŸ˜‰

Soon, our 2025 Sept-Dec Mini catalog will go live.  I have received my pre-order and let me tell you, this catalog is packed with a lot of great things for Fall, Christmas and beyond.  And, there will also be NEW Online Exclusive products next month too.  A lot is happening and even though it's really hot in most parts of the country, Christmas IS coming...  πŸ˜

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.  Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your week!
