About Me

First, let me say welcome! I’m so happy you dropped by. I hope that you enjoy your visit.

I was born and raised in Chicago and have always loved paper, markers, inks and paint. I started scribbling on walls (or so my Mom told me), when I was still in my crib. She said that I would never cry out when hungry, I just would climb out of my crib, find something to write with, and go to town on the walls. I’m sure she exaggerated, but then, who knows?

In 2002, my husband Dale and I moved to Arizona. While I love Chicago and all the culture (and food), the cold weather just wasn’t working for us anymore. So in our 50’s, we moved and settled in Gilbert, where we live with our 8 year old cat, Angie. We own a mailing and shipping store, and Dale operates it by himself. I’ve been in the banking industry since 1984 and came out of retirement 3 years ago to work for a local bank here.

Ten years ago, a friend invited me to a Stampin’ Up! party. I had never played with stamps and ink before, and found this craft to be exactly what I needed. To see a result in such a short time also worked well for my “patience” (which I don’t have a lot of). I knew I had to join this wonderful company, so I could get my hands on as many things that my craft room could hold.

I signed up as a demonstrator in June 2010. I hold monthly classes in my home and fully enjoy the perks, and meeting new people. Most of all I love when I meet someone that has never stamped before, and I show them how easy it is, and they are thrilled with the results. Such joy!

I hope you enjoy what you see in my little corner of the world.
