Spring has Spring!

Hi friends,
Although I do live in Arizona and our weather is pretty nice most of the year, our friends to the East of us sure have had a long, hard winter! My family in Chicago tells me it's the worst they had in 30 years!  And poor New York and Boston...yikes!  Well, how about some Spring items for our friends east of here?
My April stamp camp was a big hit.  We made 3 projects:

The Burlap & Blooms wreath from Stampin' Up! was so much fun to make! Priced at  $ 17.95, it makes a great gift for Mom for Mother's Day. The kit comes with everything you need to assemble, except a glue gun. It only took about 2 hours to make so it's a nice relaxing project.  I can't think of a better gift than flowers and a card, can you? Oh wait! A nice dinner and chocolate...chocolate always works ! :-)

I love the In Color Crisp Cantaloupe, and paired with the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration catalog, this card is quick and easy. The doily makes a perfect backdrop for the floral design. Sale-a-bration is over now, but you can be sure I stocked up on this sweet paper!

Pear Pizzaz card stock is the base for this card.  I used clear embossing powder on the Happy Mother's Day sentiment.  The Secret Garden stamp set with matching framelits makes a perfect quick card. I love when everything comes together.  Sad to say though, the Secret Garden items are retiring.  The new Stampin' Up catalog is coming (June 1) so a lot of my favorites are going away. And unfortunately, I don't always get to use every set I buy, so it's a sad day for me indeed.  But, when one door closes, another opens, which means there will be plenty of new favorites I'll find.
So, what do you think?  I'd love to see your comments.  Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Until next time, have a great day and happy stamping! God Bless!
