Bobbi's Paper Trail: Grateful For You

The calendar has rolled over to September, and I couldn't be happier. I love this this time of the year. The cooler temperatures, beautiful gold, yellow and red colors, and the excitement of fall.

Today I'm sharing a card I made for a "one card swap". Many of us sign up and we make one card with a theme and send it on to the person after our name on the list. The challenge was to use branches or leaves. I couldn't wait to get inky with my new stamp set that just came out September 1st. Here's my card:

Elegant Leaves is a beautiful set that has three different types of leaves, and five really nice sentiments. I really like the detailed veining stamps, so I stamped those in a darker color and used the "fill" stamps for the inside. The fonts in the sentiments are all lower case, which in my opinion, makes them different and nice to use for a change. The "smoosh" you see is from another stamp set called Opulent Oasis. You can still buy it, because it's on our last chance sale list. It actually has dies to match and the bundle with the dies is still available too. I had fun with this set. I'm mailing it out Tuesday, and I hope the recipient likes it as well.
