Bobbi's Paper Trail: Garden Birthday Card

We had our monthly stamp camp last weekend and I will share those cards with you in my next post. Today though, I'd like to share a card made by one of our friends, Verna, who shared this card with us.

As most of us know, we have so many supplies, and very often, they do not all get used. Verna said she wanted to create something that used several supplies from different places. Her card certainly does that. Isn't it cute?

The card base is from the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (retired). She used the Help Me Grow bundle and for the stamping and die cuts. The sentiment was made using Flirty Flamingo ink and is from an old Paper Pumpkin kit (retired). The light green layer was paper from her stash and she used the Ladybug Picnic embossing folder to give some great background design. She die cut the flowers using our Strawberry Slush two tone cardstock. The leaves were cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock. The Pecan Pie flower pot is just the right color, especially as she added a darker blending along the left edge. This is a nice touch that adds dimension to the flower pot. Finally, our Butterfly Embellishments finish it off perfectly.
