June 24, 2010 - That's the day I decided to join Stampin' Up! as a "hobby" demonstrator.  I joined because I was invited to a stamp camp and I fell in love with the people, the products and the coordinating colors. I am still at it, 16 years later!  It's hard to believe that I had NO intentions of making it this far. But to be honest, the people that I met, they are truly life-long friends now. The Stampin' Up! events I've attended led me to even more people to meet, also friends now. 

When I started stamping, I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew that I had fun learning, and trust me when I say, my card making has developed from little ink spots where they shouldn't be and slightly crooked layers on my cards, to more cohesive designs that sometimes I even surprise myself.  I've gone from making one or two cards, to designing 5 different cards for up to 16 people at my stamp camps that I held in Arizona before moving to Missouri.  

Art in any form is what makes me happy.  I love to take walks around the lake at the park near my home, and sometimes I just sit there, letting the sun warm me, watching the geese and ducks.  I find inspiration there and even as I sit on my front porch, listening to the birds, as a far away lawn mower buzzes in the distance.
