Spring Into March

 Hello friends,

I hope you are all enjoying your days. As most of you know, I am my husband's caregiver and once again, the days got away from me.  I apologize that I haven't posted in a while, but I hope to make up for it this week.

March was my birthday month, and I have been so blessed to receive a LOT of birthday cards. Some from family and friends, my Stampin' Up! team both in Arizona and here in Jefferson City, Mo.  It's nice to be remembered on such an important day.  At my age, I'll take every birthday I can, given the Lord's blessing. So much is going on in the world that sometimes we don't think to just sit, relax, listen to soft music and enjoy the little things.  I am going to try to do that more often, now that the weather is getting warmer here.  Take the time to just breathe in and listen to the sounds of life and nature, birds singing and yes, the occasion lawn mower.  😉

So today, I am sharing some of the cards I made as well as a few Easter cards too. I hope you like them.

The card above and below are two that I designed for our March stamp camp.  I hosted this month and attended online with my team and customers in Arizona.  These were fun to make.

The Easter cards are part of a Paper Pumpkin kit for February, called Celebrate Spring.  I had enough supplies left to make additional cards using supplies I had on hand.

This last birthday card was made using scraps of designer paper and a banner left over from the card kit used above.  In fact, even the cardbase was a scrap.  I had cut and scored a card incorrectly at some other time and didn't have the heart to throw it away. Sometimes nice things can come out of the mistakes we make.

This Hello card was an online challenge from a Facebook group that I follow.  The "rules" were to use bright colors, so once again, I looked into my scrap bin and found these different color pieces of cardstock and designer paper.  I decide a sunburst card, for spring, would be good.  It was well received.

Thanks for stopping by today. There's a lot happening at Stampin' Up! and as I learn more, I will share it with you all.  In the meantime, happy stamping and enjoy your day!
