What's New & What's Going Away?

Hello friends,

Today my post isn't about a card I made or a new technique I learned.  Today is all about new products on the horizon, and sadly, some things that are retiring.  At this time of the year, a new catalog is soon to arrive and all the excitement of seeing all the new things is one of the best perks of being a demonstrator. I get to see things early, and order them early, and create with them early. Then I can show you.

While I don't personally have anything new yet, let me tell you about some new things that are coming soon.

NEW 2026-2028 In Colors

Meet Barely Blush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow, Peaceful Pine and Hydrangea Hue

Just look at these light and airy colors.  Perfect for creating any card, scrapbook page or 3D project, these colors speak to me.  Crisp Cantaloupe is a returning favorite from a few years back.

Stampin' Up! does a great job of ensuring the colors they come out with for our In Colors are current and trendy, and these are no exception.  Not only will we have new ink pads, but we will have ink refills, cardstock, ribbon, twine embellishments too.  While I have not yet seen our new catalog (I will see it soon) they usually bring out many accessories in the new In Colors every year.

NEW Magnetic Ink Pads !

Ink is a favorite topic at Stampin’ Up!, and ink pads are always just a few steps away from every desk and meeting space. We also know that you love the experience of stamping with it, and how ink brings color and personality to your projects. So, when something changes the way you work with it and share it, it’s big news.

That’s why we’re truly excited to tell you about an important update to our ink pad design that will begin rolling out gradually over the next two years.

This design features a felt ink pad in a magnet-based, stackable case; it’s thoughtfully engineered, beautifully functional, and completely top of the line. With an easy, mess-free open and a snap-tight closure, we think you’ll agree it’s one of the coolest ink pad cases available. Added bonus: it holds more ink! More ink = more fun stamping + fewer refills. (And yes, in case you’re wondering . . . this is the same ink pad design that was previously produced by our Close to My Heart friends!)

We understand that changes to something as essential as ink can bring a mix of emotions. Please note that the rollout won’t happen for the entire ink pad line until 2027, and even then, there will be no rush to replace what you already own—your current ink pads will continue to work beautifully. Our goal is to be transparent, thoughtful, and supportive, giving you time to explore the new design at your own pace.

With that in mind, we’re excited to share what makes this new ink pad so special. Truly, you have to see it in action to understand just how wonderful it is, and we believe you are in for a treat. Which naturally leads to the big question we know you’re asking: When can customers buy them?

The answer: May of this year, starting with the 2026–2028 In Colors!  One of the best perks about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that I get to see new products and browse our new catalogs about a month before they are released. I will be able to order the new 2026-2028 In Colors then in the new magnetic pads.  Stay tuned for more information as I get mine and work with them.  I'm excited!

As a person who has hand issues with arthritis, I am looking forward to playing with the new magnetic pads. Not only are they easier to open, they're stackable which means easier to see your colors and if you don't have an ink storage option, the stackable pads really hold together nicely.

What's Going Away?

Sadly, as a new catalog is launched, many of our favorites have to retire.  Our 2024-2026 In Colors will be retiring soon.

Say good-bye to Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, Shy Shamrock, Summer Splash

All cardstock, Stampin' Blends, ink pads, ink refills, ribbon, designer series paper and embellishments will be retired when the new catalog goes live.  These are some of my favorite colors and if you agree, now is the time to order what you love before it's too late.

The Last Chance list still has some great items that will also be retiring, and many items are offered at a nice discount.  To check them all out, click on my Shop button and see the deals.

There's a lot of things happening and I'm excited to share it all with you.  If you want a new catalog, email me today to be added to my mailing list.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you have a craft happy day. 😊
