Your Day to Shine

 About every other month Stampin' Up! releases new crafting kits. Some kits contain stamps while others are kits that require no stamping. I love our kits because everything is included, and you have parts left over to use for other projects using other supplies you have on hand. The "Your Day to Shine" kit includes enough supplies to make 6 cards with matching envelopes.  Here's a peek at the kit instructions cover:

All of our kits come in a nice box that can be used to gift the completed cards to someone or keep the box for yourself for all kinds of storage.  As a paper crafter, we always need places to store things and these boxes are very handy for that.  As you can see from the photo above, the Happy Birthday was meant for the smaller cards, but I made some changes.  The smaller cards are perfect for me to use as a Thank You when I send my customers little gifts for ordering.  

And here's my completed cards.  I changed things up a bit because I like to have larger cards for birthdays.  I used a "thank you" sentiment from another stamp set I had for the small cards, and I made the "It's Your Day to Shine" as is.  These cards were very quick to make; it only took me a little over an hour.
