Hello with Softly Sketched

 Hello and happy Thursday,

While it's always exciting to get a new catalog, many times I forget that I still have quite a few stamps that are in the annual catalog, that I have not used yet.  Today's card is made from one of those.  Softly Sketched is a delightful stamp, that to me, looks like it was sketched in charcoal.  I had a scrap of white cardstock on my desk, so I opted to use that and make a card using the smallest floral image.  Here's my card:

I used Flirty Flamingo for my card base, with a strip of Most Adored designer paper, found in the new mini catalog.  I stamped the image in Basic Gray ink instead of black, because I wanted it to be a softer look.  Using my watercolor pencils and a blender pen, I colored the image, then added clear Wink of Stella to give it some shine. 

I think I'll use black ink to stamp the images next time, because I think they would stand out more.
