Bird Ballad

 Hello and welcome!

Today I am showing you a card I made for a swap, and the theme was "anything goes", even retired products.  What a fun swap!  It was nice to look at the many items I have on hand that are retired. As an avid stamper, sometimes we just can't part with everything that retires. While my classes can only use current products, it sure was nice to not have to worry about that, and just create.  Here's my card:

I pulled out the Bird Ballad designer series paper.  This pack of papers has so many great images that include florals and birds. I knew I wanted to use the Bird Builder punch from years ago, then remembered I had this paper.  Win!

I used the Cloud punch (#157749) to depict leaves in a tree. This punch is current and can be found in our Annual catalog. The sentiment is from the very old and retired "Teeny Tiny Wishes" stamp set. The card base is Basic White and is a cute fun fold.

Sometimes it's just nice to sit and create, without worrying about it being perfect. This is just that type of card. Fun and quick to make.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a beautiful day. 😍
