Have a Peachy Day!

One of the greatest things about Stampin' Up! is their designer series paper; and the fact that many papers coordinate with stamp sets.  Today's post is all about the Sweet as a Peach Suite, found on pages 60-61 in our annual catalog. The suite includes stamps, dies, papers, and the most adorable little jam jars! Here's what we made at my class yesterday.

We started out making a simple card using just stamps and embellishments. This is what is known as a "beginner stamper" card. Simple, quick and easy, especially made for a newer stamper.
Then we added more layers. Here you see the beautiful You're a Peach designer series paper. Love that blue! And we used the Contour Dies to cut out the white focal point; we stamped the same image as we did on the beginner card, but added the little blue flowers and popped it up with dimensionals. This card would be for the "casual stamper". Just a small amount of layering of the focal image.
Our third card uses more paper on the inside, stamped and die cut peaches on the front, and popped up with dimensionals. See that beautiful card front edge? That was made using the new Basic Borders dies, found on page 162 in our annual catalog.  These borders are amazing! You get 6 edge dies in this set.

Finally, we used the new jam jars and I filled them with Southern Peach Bath Salts.  YUM! These jars are also food safe too! I used the largest scallop circle from the Layering Circles Dies (page 163, annual catalog) and our Double Oval punch (scallop oval used here). The punch can be found on page 150 in our annual catalog.

Our snacks were also peach themed, and I found peach scented candles to give away to the girls. Peaches for everyone! Today, I made peach cobbler to round out the weekend.  Hubby loved it.

I hope you enjoyed my post today.  If you don't already have a demonstrator, and would like a catalog, please contact me and I'll get one out to you.  Enjoy your week!
