A Touch of Ink

Hello and welcome!

Today I'm showing you a card I made using a FREE product I earned from our Sale-a-bration catalog. During the month of January and February, there are several products you can get free with a qualifying order.  A Touch of Ink is one that I fell in love with.  It features a butterfly, a dragonfly and a flower, with some really sweet sentiments.  Here's my card:

The butterfly was stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin' Blends. I used Dark Seaside Spray, Light Seaside Spray and Light Highland Heather.  I love coloring with our blends! They are smooth and glide over the paper, no matter if you use the brush end or the tip end. A little scattering of Seaside Spray ink using the little dots gave it some texture so the butterfly was a bit more grounded.

See that gorgeous paper?  That's our new Hydrangea Hill designer paper, part of our Hydrangea Hill Suite. What gorgeous colors! Soft pastels that will melt your heart. The card base is Purple Posy, an In Color that will be retiring soon. The butterfly is cropped on our Whisper White *  cardstock on a panel of Misty Moonlight.  (* Whisper White has been replaced with our new Bright White cardstock).
