Merry Christmas Friends!

As the year draws to a close (can you believe it's almost 2014?), I want to say  how happy I am to be a part of Stampin' Up!  As a demonstrator for about 3 years now, I have made so many wonderful new friends, both in person and in blog land.  This year has been great for me.  I got to attend Stampin' Up! convention for the first time, and for their 25th Anniversary, where I saw first hand, what a wonderful company this is.  Shelli Gardner, her family and friends, as well as the staff, made us all feel like we've known each other for years!  We had a blast, and I look forward to going again.
While I am still new to blogging myself, I always had good intentions of posting more frequently than I've been able to.  Darn full time job!  :-)  If I had my way, I'd be playing with stamps and ink all the time, but that's not going to happen any time soon.  We must earn a living, and although I am doing more stamping that I used to, it's still not enough for me!  I have learned so many things this past year, both personally and professionally, and I am anxious to continue this in 2014.
I would like to also take this time to thank you, my blog readers, for all your sweet comments and support. It's been a pleasure to know you and I hope that you have enjoyed some of my posts and creations, just as much as I've enjoyed making them.  I love what I do and am eager to learn new techniques and show them to you when I can.  For now, here's some cards I made but didn't get a chance to show them to you.  Please note....not all of these cards use Stampin' Up! products.  The first 3 cards are techniques I learned when I attended a Rubber Stamp Convention here in Arizona. The result looks like an oil painting, but is done entirely with stamps and sponging ink and blending the colors. I love the look and I hope you enjoy them.  Merry Christmas to you all....and my very best wishes for a safe, healthy and Happy New Year!  See you in 2014 !

  1. Those first three cards look like Stampscapes and they're amazing! I love all your Stampin' Up! cards, too, especially the old phone stamped in black. Very crisp. I know about that darn full time job. I'm happy to have reduced my work days to 4 a week with Wednesdays being the extra day off. Love that break in the middle of the week. Sometimes you have to make a choice -- either stamp or blog -- it's hard to keep up with both. I appreciate your visits to my blog, Bobbi, and I will continue to enjoy visiting you here in 2014. Happy new year!

  3. Exactly what would it take for you to give up the secret to this gorgeous technique? Money, naughty pictures of me, torture, or naughty pictures of me? WHAT DO YOU MEAN TORTURE????? Humph.
